The AM Sorter separates freight by destination, weight, size, and shape. This permanent part time position works 25 hours weekly, Monday through Friday, from 03:30 to 08:30 am. No experience or specialized education is necessary, while English proficiency is required for frequent operational communications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Unload freight from curbside trucks onto the conveyor
- Transfer freight from conveyors or chutes for load-out
- Load freight into linehaul, cube trucks, or trailers
- Preload mail and packages into curbside delivery vehicles
- Scan shipments and identify improperly sorted or priority packages
Requirements:
- No specialized education required for this position
- No previous experience necessary
- English proficiency required for frequent stakeholder communications
- Ability to manually transfer bulk or non-conveyable items
- Availability Monday through Friday from 03:30 to 08:30 am
