Business Solutions Analyst

Location: Calgary, AB

Term: 6 Month Contract (with potential for extension)

Schedule: Monday to Friday

About the Role The Business Solutions Advisor supports the administration, governance, optimization, and user enablement of WellView and SiteView applications within the Well Delivery business. Working closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and application vendors, this role is responsible for system support, configuration, data management, process improvement, and solution delivery to enhance operational efficiency and data quality.

The ideal candidate brings strong business analysis and change management experience, a solid understanding of well data and drilling operations, and the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholder groups to drive business outcomes.

Responsibilities

- Provide system administration, governance, and application support for WellView and SiteView.
- Support application configuration, user access management, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
- Partner with business users to gather, validate, and document business requirements.
- Lead and support process improvement initiatives within the Well Delivery organization.
- Coordinate system testing activities, including quality assurance and user acceptance testing.
- Monitor application integrations and support data quality and governance initiatives.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, procedures, and user training materials.




- Facilitate stakeholder meetings and workshops to align requirements and drive project outcomes.
- Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to implement enhancements and resolve technical issues.
- Provide user support, training, and change management activities to ensure successful adoption of system improvements.

Qualifications

- Legally entitled to work in Canada.
- Post-secondary education in Petroleum Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Business Analysis, or a related discipline. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive oil and gas industry experience.
- Demonstrated experience supporting and administering WellView and SiteView applications.
- Solid business analysis skills, including requirements gathering, process mapping, testing, and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience with application governance, system administration, data management, and user support.
- Knowledge of Peloton Allez, WellView, and SiteView platforms is required.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with cross-functional teams.

This position works closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to support critical well delivery applications and ensure reliable, efficient, and accurate business processes.
