Operate steel-processing equipment at Forma Steel in Fort Macleod, Alberta, using production drawings, basic math, and safe work practices.

This full-time Machine Operator works in the Trim Area during the afternoon shift, Monday through Thursday. The position supports manufacturing roofing, siding, trim, and custom panels. You will guide steel through processing areas, complete equipment procedures, and move products through production.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate folders, shears, slitters, and other steel equipment
- Guide steel into designated processing areas
- Perform safe, efficient machinery operation
- Complete startup, cleaning, and shutdown procedures
- Lift and move products through production

Requirements:

- Ability or experience operating manufacturing equipment
- Ability to read and understand production drawings
- Basic math, English reading, writing, and verbal communication
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand
- Capability to work in a manufacturing workplace
