Summary

We are seeking a Dispatcher to join our team in Brampton. This role is crucial for coordinating local LTL and FTL pickups and deliveries, contributing significantly to our operational efficiency and customer service excellence.

Responsibilities

- Coordinate daily dispatch activities for local pickups and deliveries
- Utilize transportation management systems to optimize routes
- Manage shipping and receiving processes
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities and driver schedules
- Liaison with drivers, dispatch and warehouse to ensure smooth operations




- Provide exceptional customer service through effective phone etiquette with drivers and customers

Qualifications

- Proven experience in transportation management or dispatching (highly preferred or 3 years experience)
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Familiarity with supply chain processes
- Full understanding of city routes
- Proficiency to Multi task in a fast pace environment
- Experience with shipping & receiving operations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent phone etiquette
