Job Summary

- Provide friendly, productive service in a casual dining environment, helping create a welcoming experience for every guest.

- Support daily restaurant operations by preparing and serving food, processing orders, and maintaining clean, safe work areas.

- Follow established food safety and sanitation procedures while working collaboratively with the team.

Duties

- Greet guests, answer questions, take orders, and provide attentive customer service.

- Use a POS system, including Micros POS where applicable, to enter orders and process transactions accurately.

- Handle cash and complete cashiering tasks, using basic math and careful attention to detail.

- Prepare and serve food according to recipes, portion standards, and food-handling requirements.

- Follow food safety practices, including proper handwashing, temperature control, and prevention of cross-contamination.

- Keep dining, service, and kitchen areas clean and sanitary throughout the shift.

- Help restock supplies, organize ingredients, and support other food preparation tasks as needed.





- Suggest menu items and use appropriate upselling techniques to help guests make informed choices.

- Manage time effectively, prioritize tasks during busy periods, and communicate with coworkers to keep service running smoothly.

Experience

- Food service, restaurant, food industry, serving, or kitchen experience is helpful but not required.

- Familiarity with food preparation, food handling, food safety, and sanitation practices is an asset.

- Experience with POS or Micros POS, cashiering, and cash handling is preferred.

- Basic math skills, attention to detail, a customer-focused approach, and strong time management are important.

- Willingness to learn, work as part of a team, and follow training and safety procedures is essential.

Pay: $17.00-$17.50 per hour
