As a Service Tech II, you will perform maintenance, preventive maintenance, and minor repairs on rental equipment and tools. The work involves diesel systems, mechanical components, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems. You will also provide exceptional customer service while demonstrating complex equipment and supporting equipment deliveries.
Key Responsibilities: Maintain rental equipment and tools across multiple systems
Complete preventive maintenance and minor equipment repairs
Document daily work orders completely and promptly
Demonstrate complex equipment for customers
Assist with equipment and parts pickup and delivery
Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
One to two years of mechanical experience or related trade experience
Own tools applicable to the position
Basic understanding of schematics and diagrams
Bring equipment maintenance, systems knowledge, documentation, and customer service skills to United Rentals as a Diesel Mechanic.
