Position summary

Don Wheaton Chevrolet Buick GMC Cadillac in Edmonton is hiring a full-time Digital Content & Lot Coordinator. This is a true hybrid, flex role: your main job is photographing our new and used inventory, and you'll also run our Instagram, Facebook and TikTok, and cover reception.

Expect roughly 50% vehicle photography, 20% social media, 20% reception coverage and 10% lot duties. That mix shifts week to week with inventory, staffing and what the store needs.

This role suits someone with a creative eye and a big personality who also likes rolling up their sleeves.

Key responsibilities

Vehicle photography (primary focus)

- Photograph recent and used units as they arrive to the dealership, following a consistent shot list (exterior angles, interior, dash, wheels, key features).
- Get units online fast: upload photos to our inventory and website systems promptly and ad vehicle descriptions
- Stage vehicles properly: clean, positioned, consistent background and lighting, no clutter or stray stickers in frame.

Social media





- Plan and post regular content to Instagram, Facebook and TikTok: inventory highlights, customer deliveries, staff spotlights, events and promotions.
- Shoot and edit short-form video, including walkarounds, reels and trend-based content that shows the store's personality.
- Be on camera when it helps, and coach staff to take part.
- Track basic performance (reach, engagement, follower growth) and adjust based on what works.
- Keep all content on-brand and within GM and dealership guidelines.

Reception coverage

- Cover the front desk during breaks, lunches, absences and busy periods.
- Greet customers warmly, answer and transfer calls, and direct visitors to the right department.
- Represent the dealership professionally as the first person many customers meet.

General lot duties

- Move, park and organize vehicles on the lot and in the showroom.
- Assist with vehicle check-in, stock tags and pricing stickers as needed.
