Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Finisher to prepare and finish interior surfaces for a clean, durable, and skilled appearance. The role involves installing, repairing, and finishing drywall, as well as completing related preparation and touch-up work. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and comfortable working independently or as part of a construction team.

Responsibilities

- Install, patch, and repair drywall on walls and ceilings.
- Measure, cut, fit, and secure drywall panels to framing.
- Apply joint compound, tape seams, and sand surfaces to achieve a smooth finish.
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including priming and related construction painting tasks.
- Complete caulking and finishing work around joints, trim, and openings.
- Read and follow blueprints, plans, and work instructions to meet project specifications.
- Coordinate with carpenters and other trades to support efficient project progress.




- Inspect completed work, correct imperfections, and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Use hand and power tools safely and maintain them in good working condition.

Qualifications

- Previous drywall installation and finishing experience not require.
- Construction experience, including carpentry or handyman experience, is an asset.
- Familiarity with construction painting, caulking, and surface preparation is preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and follow measurements and project specifications.
- Comfortable using common construction tools and working safely on active job sites.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work effectively with a team.

Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour Work Location: Hybrid remote in Victoria, BC V9C 3M7
