Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly with a friendly and energetic demeanor, making them feel valued from the moment they arrive
- Manage reservations and waitlists using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS to optimize seating flow
- Escort guests to their tables, providing menus and answering initial questions about the restaurant’s offerings
- Maintain clear communication with servers and kitchen staff to coordinate seating arrangements and special requests
- Handle guest inquiries via phone with professional phone etiquette, providing accurate information and assistance
- Monitor the dining area to ensure guest comfort, promptly addressing any concerns or needs




- Assist with maintaining cleanliness and organization at the front desk and waiting area

Requirements

- Previous experience in guest services, food service, or hospitality is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are essential
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests, team members, and management
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a quick-paced environment
- Knowledge of restaurant POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Excellent phone etiquette for managing reservations and guest inquiries professionally
- Hospitality or hotel experience is advantageous but not mandatory
- Must be able to stand, walk, and remain alert for extended periods during shifts
