Event Check-In & Media Assistant

We are looking for a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Event Check-In & Media Assistant to support upcoming professional, educational, and community events in Kamloops.

This role combines guest registration, event coordination, and basic photo/video content creation.

The ideal candidate is personable, reliable, comfortable using technology, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities in a rapid-paced event environment.

Key Responsibilities

Event Check-In & Registration

- Welcome and greet attendees professionally.
- Manage event registration and guest check-in.
- Verify attendee information and maintain accurate attendance records.
- Assist guests with directions, seating, and general event inquiries.
- Help with event setup and registration materials.
- Coordinate with the event host and organizing team.

Photography & Media Support

- Capture photos and short videos during events.
- Document key moments, presentations, and audience engagement.




- Assist with creating content for social media and promotional purposes.
- Ensure photos and videos are clear and professionally presented.
- Organize and share event media with the organizing team.
- Follow event photography and attendee consent guidelines.

Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Friendly, professional, and welcoming attitude.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, and basic digital tools.
- Basic photography or videography skills preferred.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Reliable transportation to event locations.
