Quality Engineer (Night Shift)- Rosenort, MB

Our client is a leading manufacturer specializing in high-quality stainless steel agricultural products. They are dedicated to producing durable and reliable solutions for the farming industry. Our client is currently looking for a Safety & Quality Control Inspector to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards during the night shift, with a $3.00 premium applied for night-shift work.

This position is located in Rosenort, MB - roughly 35 minutes south of Winnipeg.

This is an entry-level role. No experience required - all training will be provided.

Responsibilities

- Review and approve all documentation at each workstation.
- File and maintain completed paperwork.
- Monitor quality throughout the shift and identify issues proactively.
- Use the non-conformance system to report issues to leads.
- Perform quality checks on small parts and conduct random audits of parts and parts boxes.
- Verify the accuracy of drawing packages.




- Inspect materials and processes for defects at all stations.
- Contribute to the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Secure Work Practices (SWP), Job Safety Analyses (JSA), and Quality Standards.
- Document and follow up on near-miss incidents and safety incidents.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in welding is considered an asset.
- Prior safety experience is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour
