Job Summary

- Prepare ingredients and support meal preparation while maintaining a clean, organized kitchen.

- Assist with serving and general food service tasks as needed.

- Wash dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment, and keep dishwashing and food-preparation areas sanitary.

- Follow established food safety and food-handling practices throughout each shift.

- Work collaboratively with kitchen and service staff to help ensure smooth restaurant operations.

Duties

- Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and equipment.

- Clean and maintain dishwashing stations, counters, floors, and other kitchen areas.

- Assist with food preparation, including washing, cutting, portioning, and storing ingredients.

- Support cooking and meal preparation tasks as directed by kitchen staff.

- Help prepare and replenish items for service and assist with serving when needed.

- Store food and supplies properly, label items as required, and help rotate stock.

- Follow food safety, sanitation,



and secure equipment-use procedures.

- Communicate with team members about supply needs, equipment issues, and kitchen cleanliness.

Qualifications

- Previous food service experience, restaurant experience, kitchen experience, or other food industry experience is helpful but not required.

- Familiarity with food preparation, cooking, meal preparation, serving, food handling, and food safety is an asset.

- Ability to follow instructions and sanitation procedures carefully.

- Dependable, organized, and able to work cooperatively in a fast-paced kitchen.

- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform routine kitchen tasks, including lifting and carrying supplies as needed.

Pay: $17.00-$17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
