The Food Service

Worker will perform standardized food services work for College of the North Atlantic's Bay St. Assisting with food preparation work in the kitchen. Safely reheating meals by following food safety practices.

Cleaning and sanitizing work stations and kitchen equipment, ensuring that the kitchen meets food safety and occupational health standards. Operating a computerized cash register - process cash, debit, and credit transactions, and provide professional customer service. Perform other related duties as assigned to support the effective operation of the kitchen and food service area.

Graduation from high school (equivalencies to be considered). Relevant experience working in an institutional and/or industrial kitchen. Knowledge of the food service industry including food safety and sanitation.

Shift work and weekend work is required. This is a casual position.
