Job Summary

We are seeking a licensed Registered Massage Therapist to provide professional, client-centered massage therapy. The therapist will assess clients’ needs, deliver appropriate treatments, and support a welcoming, respectful experience. This role requires sound clinical judgment, strong customer service, and explicit communication.

Responsibilities

- Conduct client intake and discuss health history, goals, preferences, and any relevant concerns before treatment.
- Assess clients’ needs and provide massage therapy within the scope of professional training and applicable regulations.
- Explain treatment options, obtain informed consent, and adapt techniques to client feedback and comfort.
- Maintain accurate, confidential treatment notes and client records using appropriate medical terminology.
- Follow hygiene, sanitation, safety, and professional-boundary standards.
- Communicate clearly with clients about treatment plans, aftercare, and when referral to another healthcare professional may be appropriate.
- Provide courteous customer service, respond to client questions,



and help maintain a calm, welcoming treatment environment.
- Keep the treatment area clean, organized, and prepared for appointments.

Requirements

- Current registration or licensure as a Registered Massage Therapist in the applicable jurisdiction.
- Knowledge of massage therapy techniques, anatomy, contraindications, and safe treatment practices.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and accurate clinical documentation.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to listen carefully and explain treatment information clearly.
- Excellent customer service skills and a professional, respectful approach to clients.
- Ability to maintain client confidentiality, exercise sound judgment, and work within professional scope and standards.
- Physical ability to perform massage therapy duties safely and maintain a clean, organized treatment space.

Pay: $65.00-$70.00 per hour
