Job Description

True Way Installations Inc. is looking for experienced and reliable Field Service Technicians to perform TELUS Business Installation & Repair (I&R;) services.

The successful applicant will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications services at commercial and business locations.

Applicants must have their own white work van, ladders, and necessary installation tools.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, activate, troubleshoot, and repair TELUS business internet and telecommunications services.
- Perform installation and repair of fibre optic and copper-based services.
- Install and configure modems, routers, ONTs, and other networking equipment.
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues, signal problems, and service interruptions.
- Perform structured cabling, including CAT5e/CAT6 cable installation and termination.
- Install and troubleshoot business Wi-Fi networks.
- Perform indoor and outdoor cable installations, including ladder work when required.
- Complete service orders, trouble tickets, and installation documentation accurately.
- Communicate professionally with business customers and provide excellent customer service.
- Follow company and client safety standards, installation procedures, and quality requirements.

Vehicle & Tool Requirements

Applicants MUST provide:

- Their own reliable white cargo/work van suitable for telecommunications work.
- Appropriate extension ladders and step ladders.
- All required hand tools and power tools.




- Cable testers, termination tools, and basic telecommunications installation equipment.
- Proper personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Valid driver’s licence and appropriate vehicle insurance.

Qualifications & Experience

- Previous experience in TELUS, Bell, Rogers, Shaw, or similar telecommunications installation and repair work is preferred.
- Experience with business internet installation and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of fibre optic systems, copper networks, and structured cabling.
- Ability to install and configure networking equipment.
- Comfortable working independently and managing daily service appointments.
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to safely work at heights and use ladders.
- Ability to pass required background checks and client onboarding requirements.
