We're looking for a Business Development Manager who knows the Canadian fair industry from the inside. You'll use your network and experience to build relationships with fair boards, executive directors, and agricultural societies, and bring new fairs on board as long-term partners.

What You'll Do

- Identify and approach agricultural fairs, exhibitions, and community fairs across Canada
- Build relationships with fair board members, executive directors, and key decision-makers
- Present our services and lead the sales process from first contact to signed agreement
- Represent the company at industry conventions, trade shows, and association events
- Work with fair suppliers (midways, security, fencing, and others) to create referral partnerships
- Maintain a sales pipeline and report regularly on progress and results
- Share market feedback with our team to improve our offering for fairs

What We're Looking For:

5+ years of experience in the Canadian fair and exhibition industry. This could include:

- Working directly with one or more fairs or exhibitions
- Working for or with a fair supplier, such as a midway, security, camera, fencing, or equipment company




- An established network of contacts within Canadian fairs and agricultural societies
- Familiarity with industry associations such as the Canadian Association of Fairs and Exhibitions (CAFE) , Ontario's Assassination of Agricultural societies (OAAS) or provincial fair associations
- Proven track record in sales, partnerships, or business development
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
- Willingness to travel across Canada, especially during convention and fair season
- Valid driver's license
- Asset: French language skills, and experience with ticketing, admissions, or event technology
