This position also includes kitchen preparation duties such peeling and preparing beets, onions, potatoes.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and assemble cabbage rolls, pyryshky, meatballs, and other traditional dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Handle food safely by following proper sanitation and food handling procedures
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently during food preparation
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and cooking areas to ensure a hygienic environment




- Assist with inventory management by organizing ingredients and supplies for efficient workflow
- Support the team with timely food production during busy service hours
- Uphold food safety regulations and ensure all products meet quality standards before serving

Skills

- Experience in food preparation, especially with traditional or ethnic dishes such as cabbage rolls, pyryshky, or meatballs
- Previous food service or restaurant experience is highly desirable
- Understanding of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Kitchen experience that demonstrates familiarity with food industry standards and serving techniques

Pay: $16.40-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 30.0 per week
