Overview

- Support the harvest and lifting of greenhouse-grown tree seedlings, helping ensure plants are handled carefully and prepared for the next stage of growing or distribution.

- Work in a hands-on greenhouse environment alongside a team focused on seedling quality, plant health, and safe work practices.

- This role is suited to someone who enjoys horticulture and gardening and is comfortable with active, physical work.

Responsibilities

- Harvest, lift, sort, and handle tree seedlings while minimizing damage to roots, stems, and foliage

- Use hand tools and basic equipment safely for seedling care, lifting, and work-area upkeep.

- Perform routine cleaning and organization of greenhouse spaces, tools, and materials.

- Follow instructions for seedling handling, quality checks, and preparation for storage or transport.

- Use basic math to count seedlings, track quantities,



and assist with simple production records.

- Report equipment concerns and help with basic troubleshooting when appropriate.

Requirements

- Interest in or experience with horticulture, greenhouse work, landscaping, or gardening is helpful.

- Comfortable performing heavy lifting and repetitive physical tasks, including standing, bending, and working on your feet for extended periods.

- Able to follow directions, work carefully, and maintain attention to detail when handling seedlings.

- Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work cooperatively as part of a team.

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24.0 – 40.0 per week
