Seeking 1-3 part time staff to primarily work supper time shifts starting around 4pm and ending between 7 and midnight depending how busy we are. Possibility to grow into a full time position with good performance and effort.

Job Overview

- Domino’s Pizza in Truro, NS is seeking a dependable, customer-focused team member for a part time Insider position.
- Insiders help keep daily restaurant operations running smoothly by preparing orders, serving customers, processing transactions, and maintaining a clean, safe kitchen.
- This is a paid position. Training is provided on restaurant procedures and equipment.

Responsibilities

- Prepare food and assemble orders according to recipes, portion standards, and food safety procedures.
- Provide friendly, efficient customer service in person and help ensure orders are accurate.
- Use the POS system to enter orders and process payments; experience with Micros POS is an asset.
- Handle cash and complete transactions accurately, including basic math and change-making.
- Support serving and order handoff, and suggest additional menu items when appropriate through courteous upselling.
- Follow food handling, food safety, sanitation, and cleaning standards throughout each shift.




- Keep workstations, kitchen equipment, and dining or service areas clean and organized.
- Manage time effectively while balancing food preparation, customer needs, and other restaurant tasks.

Experience

- Food service, restaurant, food industry, or kitchen experience is an asset; relevant training and a willingness to learn are also welcome.
- Experience with food preparation, cashiering, cash handling, customer service, and serving is beneficial.
- Familiarity with POS systems, including Micros POS, is an advantage.
- Basic math skills, attention to detail, reliability, and strong time management are important.
- Must be willing to follow food safety and sanitation practices and work cooperatively as part of a team.

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
