Job Overview

Our employer partner is seeking experienced, reliable, and professional Security Guards to provide security services at corporate events, offices, and assigned properties.

Successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and event attendees. This position involves monitoring site activities, controlling access, conducting regular patrols, responding to incidents, and delivering professional customer service.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong observation skills, sound judgment, effective communication, and the ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.

Important: Candidates must be available to work both early morning and afternoon shifts. There are no overnight shifts for this position.

Key Responsibilities





- Monitor and patrol assigned properties, corporate offices, and event venues to maintain a safe and secure environment.
- Control access to assigned sites and ensure only authorized personnel, visitors, and event attendees are permitted entry.
- Maintain accurate daily activity logs, incident reports, and other required security documentation.
- Assist event attendees, employees, and visitors with inquiries while ensuring their safety.
- Respond promptly and professionally to security incidents, emergencies, and unusual activities in accordance with site procedures.
- Conduct regular foot patrols and inspections to identify potential safety and security concerns.
- Enforce client-specific and site-specific security policies, procedures, and access restrictions.
- Provide courteous and professional customer service to employees, visitors, and event attendees.
- Maintain a visible and professional security presence throughout assigned shifts.
- Contact emergency services when required and follow established emergency response procedures.
- Work collaboratively with site supervisors, event personnel, and other security team members.
- Perform additional security-related duties as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications

- Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence is required.
- Valid First Aid and CPR Certification is required.
- Previous security experience is required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Skilled appearance, positive attitude, and strong work ethic.
- Ability to remain calm, composed, and professional when responding to challenging situations.
- Strong observation skills and attention to detail.




- Ability to accurately complete daily activity logs, incident reports, and other security documentation.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a security team.
- Reliable attendance, punctuality, and commitment to assigned shifts.
- Ability to conduct regular foot patrols and perform site inspections.
- Candidates assigned to sites with government contracts must be eligible to obtain the required reliability clearance.
- Must be available to work both early morning and afternoon shifts. Overnight availability is not required.
