Creative Solutions is a excavating company with heavy duty truck and trailers and equipment. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated lead Certified Red Seal Mechanic to join our team and lead the shop . The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in heavy duty repair, with the ability to work on various types of vehicles and heavy duty equipment.
This role requires a commitment to providing excellent customer service while ensuring that all repairs and maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Duties
- Perform diagnostic assessments on vehicles to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
- Utilize power tools and equipment to assemble, disassemble, and repair vehicle components.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Work with cranes and other heavy lifting equipment to facilitate repairs on larger vehicles or machinery.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used for each vehicle.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while maintaining safety standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs and repair options.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automotive technology, including HVAC systems.
Requirements
- Must be a Fully Licenced Heavy Duty Red Seal Mechanic
- Proven experience in automotive repair or related fields, with a strong mechanical aptitude.
- Familiarity with heavy duty equipment, heavy duty trucks and the ability to operate power tools safely.
- Ability to go out to the field and repair or due maintance on machines with service truck.
- Experience working with Caterpillar, John Deer machinery is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in diagnosing vehicle issues.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs or maintenance tasks.
- Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating professionalism in all interactions.
- A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications may be beneficial but are not mandatory.
