As a Permit Coordinator on the Operations team, you will secure approvals for oversized, overweight, and specialized freight. You will review dimensions, weights, axle configurations, routes, and destinations to identify requirements. The work involves coordinating with Dispatch, drivers, customers, and regulatory authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Obtain oversize and overweight permits across Canadian and U.S. jurisdictions
- Review shipment specifications and determine permit and routing requirements
- Communicate restrictions, curfews, escorts, and special conditions
- Maintain accurate electronic permit and approval records




- Provide complete permit packages before scheduled departures

Requirements:

- Transportation, trucking, logistics, dispatch, or permitting experience preferred
- Oversize and overweight permitting experience strongly valued
- Knowledge of heavy haul or oversized freight an asset
- Familiarity with Canadian or U.S. regulations preferred
- Robust communication, organization, and attention to detail
