Overview

A&W; is seeking a dependable, guest-focused Supervisor to help lead daily restaurant operations. This hands-on role supports the team in delivering friendly customer service, quality food, and a clean, safe dining experience. The Supervisor helps coordinate shifts, guide team members, and maintain smooth front- and back-of-house operations.

Duties

- Lead and support team members during shifts, assigning tasks and helping maintain efficient service.
- Provide welcoming, attentive customer service and resolve guest concerns professionally.
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, serving, and order accuracy in accordance with restaurant standards.
- Monitor food handling, food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness practices throughout the restaurant.
- Operate the POS system, process transactions, and oversee accurate cash handling.
- Coordinate kitchen and service-area workflows to support timely orders and a positive guest experience.
- Assist with team management, including onboarding, coaching, and interviewing candidates as needed.
- Help maintain inventory, restock supplies, and communicate operational needs to management.




- Follow established procedures and contribute to a respectful, collaborative workplace.

Qualifications

- Previous supervising experience, leadership ability, and confidence supporting a team.
- Food service, restaurant, kitchen, or broader food industry experience preferred; restaurant management experience is an asset.
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking, food handling, and food safety practices.
- Customer service and hospitality skills, with the ability to communicate professionally with guests and coworkers.
- Familiarity with POS systems; Micros POS experience is an asset.
- Cash handling experience preferred.
- Serving experience is an asset. Bartending, barista, or hotel experience is also welcome.
- Strong organization, reliability, and the ability to stay composed in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $16.50-$25.00 per hour
