Technicon Industries is seeking carpenters for residential and commercial construction projects in Terrace, Prince Rupert, and surrounding communities. Local tradespeople to receive hiring preference.

Journeypersons preferred. 2nd and 3rd year apprentices encouraged to apply.

Fly-In-Fly-Out is NOT an option for this position.

Requirements:

- Three years minimum relevant experience in carpentry trade, with 2 years of ITA program completed
- Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team workplace
- Ability to take initiative and be proactive on the job progress
- Capable of completing physical work, including heavy lifting of 50+ lbs
- Knowledge of tools, equipment, materials and installation practices common to carpentry trade
- Knowledge of applicable building codes, standards and regulations
- Possess high problem solving skills




- Possess professional customer service skills
- Clean criminal record as it relates to the workplace
- Driver's license
- Basic hand tools

Compensation:

- Wage negotiable based on experience and skill set
- Benefits after 3 month probation period

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $27.00-$46.00 per hour
