Job Overview

We are looking for experienced, self-sufficient installers to take on residential holiday lighting projects throughout the Greater Toronto Area during the upcoming season.

This opportunity is best suited for someone with professional experience in roofing, exterior construction, eavestroughs, window cleaning, painting, holiday lighting, or another trade involving regular ladder and roofline work.

No previous electrical or lighting expierence required.

You should already be highly comfortable working from extension ladders, working at heights, and completing exterior work safely and efficiently.

We provide the project details and installation requirements — you bring the experience, transportation, and equipment needed to get the work completed professionally.

Responsibilities

- Install professional holiday lighting on residential properties
- Complete roofline, gutter, peak, garage, railing, tree, and other exterior lighting installations
- Safely set up, position, and work from extension ladders
- Follow provided installation layouts and project specifications
- Ensure lights are installed straight, secure, and professionally presented
- Troubleshoot minor installation and lighting issues when required
- Complete service calls or adjustments when necessary
- Protect customers' homes, landscaping, gutters, roofing, and surrounding property while working
- Maintain a clean and professional job site
- Assist with seasonal takedowns after the holidays
- Follow all required safety procedures while working at heights

Qualifications

- Genuine professional ladder experience is required
- Must be highly comfortable working at heights
- Previous roofing experience is strongly preferred
- Previous experience in roofing,



eavestroughs, exterior construction, window cleaning, painting, or similar work is a strong asset
- Holiday lighting installation experience is an asset but not required
- Must be physically capable of carrying, setting up, and repositioning extension ladders throughout the day
- Must be comfortable working outdoors in cold and changing weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Reliable, professional, and able to complete assigned work efficiently
- Must have a working smartphone for job details, photos, addresses, and communication

Equipment & Transportation Requirements

Applicants must have:

- Their own truck or suitable work vehicle
- Their own extension ladder(s)
- Basic tools required for exterior installation work
- Valid driver's licence
- Reliable transportation throughout the GTA
- Valid WSIB coverage
- Appropriate insurance coverage for the work being performed

This opportunity is particularly well suited for experienced roofers, exterior tradespeople, or installation professionals who already have their own vehicle, ladders, and equipment and are looking to take on additional seasonal work.

Work Details

- Seasonal work from approximately October through December
- Additional takedown work available in January
- Residential projects throughout the Greater Toronto Area




- Volume of available work may vary based on weather, scheduling, and customer demand
- Daytime and weekend availability is an asset
- Compensation based on experience, project requirements, and scope of work

Applicants without significant ladder experience should not apply. We can teach our holiday lighting installation system, but you should already be confident and experienced working safely from extension ladders and around residential rooflines.

Pay: $21.94-$35.00 per hour
