Job Overview

- We’re seeking a customer-focused Sales Associate to help customers find the right products and enjoy a welcoming, efficient shopping experience.
- This role combines retail sales, customer service, product knowledge, and store upkeep.
- The position is paid. Training is provided on store procedures, products, and point-of-sale systems.

Responsibilities

- Welcome customers, understand their needs, and recommend suitable products through attentive communication and customer service.
- Explain product features and benefits, conduct product demos, and answer questions clearly.
- Support sales by identifying relevant add-ons and using thoughtful, customer-focused upselling.
- Operate the POS system, process transactions, and handle cashiering and cash handling accurately.
- Use basic math to verify transactions, provide correct change, and assist with routine sales calculations.
- Maintain attractive product displays, replenish merchandise, and support merchandising standards.




- Keep the sales floor organized and assist with opening, closing, and other store tasks as assigned.
- Respond to customer inquiries in person and by phone, using professional phone etiquette.
- Manage competing tasks with strong time management and organizational skills.

Requirements

- Solid customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable learning product information and explaining it to customers; technology or technical sales experience is a plus.
- Ability to use or learn POS systems and handle transactions accurately.
- Basic math skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable, organized, and able to prioritize tasks in a busy retail environment.
- Professional phone etiquette and a helpful, customer-focused approach.

Pay: $17.95 per hour
