Job Overview

Hyatt Regency Niagara Falls Fallsview Hotel is seeking an energetic and attentive Lobby Ambassador to serve as a welcoming presence for our guests. In this role, you will greet and assist guests, provide information and directions, support smooth lobby operations, and coordinate with hotel teams to ensure a positive guest experience. You will also help maintain a clean, organized, safe, and welcoming lobby environment while providing exceptional customer service.

Duties

- Welcoming Guests: Greet arriving and departing guests with a genuine smile, warm demeanor, and professional eye contact.
- Directing Lobby Flow: Actively approach guests who appear lost, guide them to the check-in desk, elevators, or amenities, and keep the lobby traffic flowing smoothly.
- Providing Local Information: Share accurate information regarding hotel services, hours of operation, and local attractions, dining, or transportation options.
- Assisting with Arrivals:



Coordinate closely with the Bell Staff and Front Desk to ensure guests receive immediate assistance with luggage and check-in priorities.
- Maintaining Lobby Standards: Monitor the cleanliness and organization of the lobby area, reporting any maintenance or tidiness issues to housekeeping.
- Ensure Safety & Security: Maintain situational awareness of the lobby area to ensure a safe and secure environment for all guests and staff.
- Impeccable Grooming: Adherence to high qualified appearance standards, reflecting the hotel's brand and reputation.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in hospitality/customer service
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills in English; multi-lingual abilities are a major asset.
- Interpersonal Traits: A naturally outgoing, empathetic, and polished personality with an ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Knowledge: Strong familiarity with the local area, including top restaurants and transit routes.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours per shift).
- Schedule: Flexibility to work a varied schedule, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: From $17.95 per hour

Experience:

- Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
