Luxe Lane Care Services is seeking a compassionate, dependable LPN with advanced nursing foot care training to provide personalized care in clients’ homes and residential settings.

Help clients maintain comfort, mobility, independence, and dignity while building meaningful professional relationships.

Responsibilities

- Conduct foot and lower-limb nursing assessments, including reviewing health history, skin condition, circulation, sensation, and relevant risk factors.
- Provide nail trimming and filing, care of thickened nails, and corn and callus reduction when appropriate to the client’s condition and within your education, competence, and authorized scope.
- Assess nail concerns, including suspected fungal changes and ingrown nails, and arrange appropriate consultation or referral.
- Recognize wounds, infection, impaired circulation, loss of sensation, and other concerns requiring prompt assessment or escalation.
- Develop, implement, document, and evaluate individualized nursing foot care plans.
- Consult with an RN or other appropriate health professional when client needs exceed your scope or individual competence.
- Educate clients and caregivers about foot hygiene, footwear, daily inspection, and prevention of complications.
- Obtain informed consent and provide respectful, culturally safe care.
- Follow infection prevention procedures, including safe instrument handling, cleaning, sterilization, storage, and sharps disposal.
- Maintain accurate, timely,



confidential clinical records.
- Communicate with clients, families, caregivers, and other health professionals as appropriate.
- Travel between scheduled visits and maintain supplies and equipment.

Required Qualifications

- Current practising LPN registration in good standing with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Completion of an advanced nursing foot care education program with supervised clinical practice and demonstrated competency.
- Current CPR/BLS certification and First Aid certification, as applicable to the role.
- Satisfactory criminal record screening, including vulnerable sector screening where applicable.
- Professional liability protection appropriate to the role.
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation for mobile visits.
- Strong assessment, communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently, recognize limitations, and seek clinical support promptly.
- Availability for part-time morning shifts.

Preferred Experience

- At least one year of nursing foot care, community nursing, or related experience.
- Experience supporting older adults and clients living with diabetes, arthritis, reduced mobility, or peripheral vascular disease.
