Hydrovac Operator – Flexible Day Schedule (3–4 Days per Week)

We're looking for a reliable, experienced, and safety-focused Hydrovac Operator to join our team on a part-time basis!

This position offers a adaptable schedule of approximately 3 to 4 days per week, with no evenings or weekends! It's a great opportunity for an experienced operator looking for a flexible work schedule without the commitment of a traditional five-day workweek.

Schedule: Working days may vary depending on operational needs, but advance notice of scheduled days will always be provided.

Hourly Rate: $44.96

What You'll Do

- Safely operate hydrovac trucks to excavate and expose underground utilities.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and routine maintenance.
- Assist with job site setup, cleanup, and other related duties.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company safety policies and MTO regulations.
- Maintain equipment in a clean, safe, and professional condition.
- Work collaboratively with crew members to complete projects safely and efficiently.

What We're Looking For

- Valid Class DZ or AZ driver's licence with a clean driver's abstract.
- Previous hydrovac operating experience preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of construction experience.
- Must be able to successfully complete a criminal background check, where required for the position or client site access.




- Mechanically inclined with the ability to operate and maintain specialized equipment.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on operational requirements.
