Duties

- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to ensure their comfort and safety
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
- Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and document all medication activities diligently
- Support clients with light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and organizing to maintain a clean and safe living environment
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness and promote mental well-being
- Help with mobility and transfer techniques using proper body mechanics to prevent injury for both client and caregiver
- Follow care plans meticulously, documenting observations, changes in condition, or concerns to ensure continuous quality care
- you can work very part time to full time, depending on your availability. Schedule is flexible and you can choose the shifts that become available.




- Our company offers care in the Greater Vancouver Area, choose which shifts are best for you and your location. Car is a great asset in this job.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in assisted living, nursing home settings, hospice care, or home care is highly preferred, however no experience is also ok as well.
- Strong patient care skills with a genuine desire to help others thrive in their daily routines
- Experience working with seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those suffering from dementia or other cognitive impairments
- Ability to perform light physical tasks including lifting or repositioning clients safely (heavy lifting experience is beneficial)
- Excellent communication skills and compassionate attitude toward diverse client needs
- Ability to follow detailed care instructions accurately and maintain confidentiality
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including evenings or weekends if required
- Criminal Record Check will be expected upon hiring

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
