Overview

We are seeking a dependable and observant Loss Prevention Agent to help protect customers, employees, merchandise, and property. In this role, you’ll monitor activity, identify potential risks, and respond to suspected theft or safety concerns in accordance with company policies and applicable laws. You’ll work closely with store leadership and, when appropriate, law enforcement to support a safe and welcoming environment.

Duties

- Conduct visible and discreet surveillance of store areas to deter theft and identify suspicious activity.
- Monitor CCTV systems and review footage in accordance with company procedures.
- Observe, document, and report incidents, safety hazards, and policy violations accurately and promptly.
- Follow established loss prevention procedures when responding to suspected theft or other security concerns.
- Communicate relevant observations and incident details to store leadership and authorized personnel.
- Assist with internal investigations while maintaining confidentiality and preserving accurate records.
- Support efforts to improve store safety,



reduce inventory loss, and promote awareness of security practices.
- Cooperate with law enforcement when required and consistent with company policy and applicable laws.
- Maintain a skilled, respectful approach when interacting with customers, employees, and visitors.

Qualifications

- Strong observation, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and attentive in changing situations.
- Sound judgment and a commitment to following policies, procedures, and applicable laws.
- Prior experience in loss prevention, security, retail operations, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience with surveillance systems or CCTV monitoring is an asset.
- Background in law enforcement is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work collaboratively with store teams.

Pay: $22.95 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
