Support patient care with Dynacare as a Laboratory Assistant Float, using phlebotomy and specimen collection skills across Ontario locations. Day shifts vary Monday through Saturday.

This contract, part-time position lasts six months with 24 guaranteed weekly hours. You will collect blood and other specimens, conduct patient tests, and provide customer service. Your work supports quality metrics, regulatory compliance, and positive patient experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

- Obtain blood samples and specimens using venipuncture techniques
- Perform ECGs, Holter hookups, and specialized collections
- Enter patient and test information accurately
- Prepare specimens and documentation for laboratory transportation
- Maintain confidentiality and support quality metrics

Requirements:

- Secondary School completion and Laboratory Assistant training
- Specialized phlebotomy training or Medical Lab Assistance course
- Customer-focused approach and genuine patient care
- Ability to reassure anxious patients during collection
- English proficiency and solid attention to detail
