This Genetics Lab

Technician supports office management, kit inventory, specimen handling, primary processing, and sample referrals. The position maintains efficient pre-analytic workflows and quality processes supporting operational testing standards. You will perform medical genetic procedures, molecular applications, and related data entry.

Key Responsibilities: Perform medical genetic procedures according to laboratory procedures Process testing requests, complete data entry, and follow up Handle, prioritize,



and prepare specimens for testing Extract nucleic acids and perform instrument maintenance and quality control Report unresolved problems to senior technologists or supervisors Requirements: Undergraduate degree in molecular biology preferred Medical Laboratory Technician Diploma desired Clinical or molecular genetics laboratory experience Experience with DNA extraction, micropipetting, and PCR setup Complex data entry, sample processing, and computer skills Bring molecular laboratory experience, careful specimen processing, and quality-focused data entry to LifeLabs Genetics operations.
