Hiring: Logistics Coordinator | Exeter, Ontario

We are currently seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator for an exciting opportunity with a growing organization in the building materials industry.

Position Details

- Location: Exeter, ON
- Pay Rate: $30–$34/hour
- Shift: Day shift

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate daily shipping activities and delivery schedules to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Plan and optimize delivery routes based on customer locations and delivery requirements.
- Coordinate with drivers, customers, sales, production, and shipping teams to maintain smooth operations.
- Monitor material movement within the yard and ensure products are ready for shipment.
- Communicate delivery updates, manage schedule changes, and resolve shipping or transportation issues.
- Provide daily direction and support to delivery personnel.
- Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure a high level of service.
- Support logistics, shipping, and inventory improvement initiatives.

Ideal Candidate





- 2–4 years of experience in a Logistics Coordinator, Shipping Coordinator, Dispatch Coordinator, or similar role.
- Hands-on experience with delivery scheduling, transportation coordination, and route planning.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a rapid-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- Experience in the construction, lumber, building materials, or manufacturing industry is an asset.
- Ability to provide a current criminal record check.
