Northgate Industries is looking for a full-time Shipping/Receiving/Forklift Operator.

Qualifications/Required Knowledge & Skills

- High School Diploma and 5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
- Have working knowledge with all shipping equipment
- Must be able to operate a forklift and have a valid Forklift license
- Schedule pick up and deliveries with suppliers, and communicate instructions
- Working knowledge of WHMIS and OH&S;
- Physically demanding; requires lifting capability of up to 50lbs
- Must be reliable, dependable and have a good attendance record
- Valid safety certificates such as: Fall Arrest, WHMIS, First-Aid, Forklift Operator Certificate recommended

Responsibilities

- Oversees the shipping process and has ability to meet shipping goals and standards
- Ensure Health & Safety policy and procedures are met
- Answering the phone, filling out paperwork, filing and tracking shipments
- Ensure shipping area is clean,



clear of hazards and organized
- Assist other department workers when required
- Perform other duties as required such as keep fleet vehicles maintained and make deliveries
- Must ensure you are wearing appropriate PPE dictated by the work conditions (indoor and outdoor)
- Be punctual for shifts, flexibility to work overtime and weekends when required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
