Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Dishwasher/Prep Cook to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our kitchen, ensuring cleanliness and assisting with food preparation to keep our service running smoothly. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help us deliver the fast, reliable, and attentive service our guests love.
Duties
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen dishes, utensils, cookware, and work stations to uphold health and safety standards
- Assist in food preparation by chopping, assembling ingredients, and following recipes for breakfast dishes
- Support cooking activities as needed, including plating and finishing dishes under supervision
- Manage waste disposal and ensure proper storage of ingredients to prevent spoilage
- Follow food handling procedures meticulously to ensure quality and safety in every meal served
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours
- Adhere to sanitation protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is most key
- Familiarity with cleaning procedures and kitchen safety standards
- Basic knowledge of food handling, preparation, and cooking techniques
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with a team-oriented mindset
- Hospitality or hotel experience is a plus but not essential
