Competition Well Services is currently seeking an Oil and Gas Decommissioning Labourer with a clean Class 1 drivers license for project work in the throughout Alberta. This is a permanent, full-time position with a 21/7 rotation (3weeks on, 1 week off). Accommodation (employer paid) and subsistence ($65/day) is provided when working more than 2 hour from CWS homebase of Sylvan Lake.

Reporting to the Site Superintendent this position is responsible for:

- General labour duties associated with site decommissioning and abandonment
- Operating hand and power tools
- Dismantling buildings, piping, pumpjacks etc.
- Disposing of scrap material
- Driving semi-truck with CWS excavator between locations
- Safely launching and receiving pigs
- Participating in all CWS health, safety and environmental inspections, programs etc.

Required Experience/Qualifications:

- 1 year direct, oil and gas field experience an asset, but not required.
- Welding experience an asset, but not required.
- Experience working with pipeline maintenance and/or pigging an asset, but not required.
- H2S, First Aid, CSO, WHMIS/TDG, Ground Disturbance Level II preferred
- Clean Class 1 drivers license.
- Experience working around/operating heavy equipment
- Ability to lift 50lbs,



and work in outdoor conditions which may be hot/cold/wet etc
- Position is subject to pre-employment A&D; testing for illegal substances
- Reliable transportation to the CWS Yard in the Red Deer area is required.
