Lead data engineering and governance at GroupHEALTH from the Surrey, BC head office in a hybrid management role. Guide trusted data foundations across Microsoft Fabric and Purview. The Manager, Data Engineering & Governance leads a multidisciplinary team supporting the Insurance Data Platform.

You will translate strategy into roadmaps, establish operating models, and govern reusable data across reporting, analytics, AI, and operational products. Success includes solid architecture, quality, stewardship, and delivery practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, coach, and develop engineering, architecture, modelling, quality, and governance professionals
- Translate strategy into roadmaps, priorities, milestones, and quarterly outcomes
- Own Fabric engineering standards, pipelines, deployment, monitoring, and support
- Establish Purview cataloguing, lineage, stewardship,



privacy, and quality standards
- Communicate technical decisions and trade-offs to business and executive stakeholders Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience
- Six-plus years across data engineering, architecture, management, or governance
- Three-plus years of formal people management experience
- Experience building teams through hiring, onboarding, and capability development
- Experience with Fabric, Purview, and enterprise data modelling Shape GroupHEALTH’s trusted data foundation through Microsoft Fabric, Purview governance, enterprise modelling, and multidisciplinary leadership.
