We are growing and looking for an organized, detail oriented, driven individual to join our team as a Sign Painter.

As a leader in the Sign industry in Canada, Hansen Signs Ltd. is responsible for the Design, Manufacturing, Installation and Maintenance of some of the highest quality signage available anywhere. We are a family owned and operated business who takes great pride in our finished product!

Who we are looking for / The ideal candidate:

- Prepare sign surfaces by cleaning, sanding, masking, and applying primers or other coatings.
- Paint lettering, graphics, and backgrounds by hand or with appropriate equipment, following layouts, color specifications, and quality standards.
- Inspect completed signs for accuracy, finish, and defects; make corrections as needed.
- Use hand tools and power tools to prepare materials, assemble signs, and complete finishing work.
- wrapping of product and delicate product
- Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs.
- constant bending, kneeling, Standing
- able to work off site occasionally - Eye for detail and colors
- must be comfortable around paint fumes
- Must be comfortable in a noisy environment
- Apply tape and coverings over areas that are not being sprayed.
- Select appropriate paint when required,



including but not limited to mixing the required coating liquids.
- Use brushes and hand-held spray guns. Select the appropriate spray nozzles or brushes depending on the job.
- Inspect and assess paint coatings after the paint has dried to ensure conformance to specifications.
- Keep paint shop tidy and dispose paint properly
- Maintain accurate records and inventory of paints

REQUIREMENTS:

- At least 2 years’ experience performing industrial spray-painting techniques.
- Sanding Experience
- Ability to ensure timely execution of tasks and completion of assigned jobs.
- Read and understand work orders.
- Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
- Comply with all safety policies and procedures.
- Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers
- The ideal candidate takes pride in accurate, high-quality work and can follow design specifications, production schedules, and workplace safety procedures.

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 42.0 per week
