Job Summary

- We are seeking a dependable Construction Labourer with experience in interlock, pipe installation, and grading to support a range of residential and commercial construction projects.
- The successful candidate will help prepare job sites, handle materials, operate tools and equipment safely, and complete work to project specifications.
- This is a hands-on role requiring physical stamina, attention to detail, teamwork, and a robust commitment to workplace safety.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and maintain job sites, including clearing work areas, moving materials, and assisting with site setup and cleanup.
- Support interlock installation, pipe work, grading, excavation, and related construction activities.
- Read and follow blueprints, schematics, and other project instructions to help ensure work is completed accurately.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely; assist with heavy equipment operation when qualified and authorized.
- Assist with concrete forming and finishing, masonry, carpentry, and general construction tasks.
- Assist qualified tradespeople with plumbing, electrical, and welding-related tasks as permitted by training and applicable safety requirements.




- Help track materials and project needs, and contribute practical information to construction estimating when requested.
- Follow site safety procedures, wear required protective equipment, and promptly report hazards or equipment concerns.
- Work cooperatively with supervisors and crew members to meet project schedules and quality standards.

Experience

- Construction experience is required; hands-on experience with interlock, pipe work, and grading is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, hand tools, and power tools is an asset.
- Experience with concrete forming or finishing, carpentry, masonry, restoration, or heavy equipment operation is beneficial.
- Ability to follow instructions, work safely outdoors in varying conditions, and perform physical tasks such as lifting materials and standing or walking for extended periods.
- A reliable, safety-conscious approach and willingness to work as part of a team are essential.

Pay: $23.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 50.0 – 60.0 per week
