Peaks Spirits is a brand-new premium liquor retail store opening this November in the beautiful resort community of Sun Peaks, BC. We are dedicated to providing an exceptional shopping experience, offering a curated selection of fine wines, premium spirits, and local craft beers to both locals and visitors.

We are looking for energetic, customer-focused Sales Associates to join our founding team! Whether you are a local resident looking for a permanent year-round career or a seasonal enthusiast looking to work a winter resort schedule, we have a position that fits your lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities

- Customer Engagement: Welcome guests, answer product questions, and provide personalized recommendations for wine, spirits, and craft beer.
- Point of Sale: Efficiently handle cash, credit, and debit transactions using the computerized POS system.
- Inventory & Merchandising: Receive stock, ensure shelves are fully stocked, and maintain visually appealing product displays.
- Store Maintenance: Keep the sales floor, cold zone, and counter spaces clean, organized, and secure.
- Compliance: Strictly enforce legal age requirements by verifying government-issued IDs in accordance with BC liquor regulations.





Qualifications & Requirements

- Age Requirement: Must be at least 19 years of age to legally handle and sell alcohol in British Columbia.
- Certification: Must possess a valid, current Serving It Right certificate or be willing to obtain it prior to your first day of work.
- Product Knowledge: Preferred candidates will bring existing knowledge of general wine, spirits, and craft beer profiles.
- Experience: Prior experience in liquor retail or a similar hospitality environment is highly preferred. General retail or cashier experience is a solid asset.
- Physical Ability: Comfort working on your feet for extended periods and the physical capacity to lift and move heavy product boxes (up to 20–25 kg).
- Availability: Flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holiday periods matching peak resort traffic.
