Metering Operations Co-op Student (4 months)

($21.82 per hour, includes 4% vacation pay)

Reporting to the Manager, Metering Operations, the successful applicant will provide a range of business process, data management, and operations support within Metering Operations.

The hours of work for this in-office position are Monday through Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm.

Duties include but are not limited to the following:

- Data analytics and reporting.
- Process improvement and documentation.
- System Analytics and diagnostics.
- Provide input into business management strategies.
- Assisting with various special projects including requirements gathering and process development.
- Producing key performance indicators of system, network, and operation performance.




- Prepare presentations to provide data-driven insights and recommendations.

The successful applicant must possess the following qualifications:

- Current enrolment in a University Business Administration and Computer Science Co-op program.
- Fundamental knowledge in project management and process improvement.
- Strong research, accuracy, communication and writing skills.
- Solid analytics and problem-solving skills.
- Looking for a highly motivated and independent individual who works well with others.
- Experience working with a variety of computer systems including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with Advance Metering Infrastructure and meter data management is considered an asset.
- Familiarity with the utility industry and regulatory bodies is considered an asset.
- Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint and ESRI are considered assets.
