Nurse provides patient-focused care within an inter-skilled team. Practice follows Osler expectations, College of Nurses standards, and legislative requirements.

Key Responsibilities: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care Provide compassionate, patient-centred nursing care Apply infection prevention and control measures Respond to changing health statuses and emergencies Teach patients and families, including discharge instructions Requirements: Current College of Nurses of Ontario registration At least three years of recent mental health experience Crisis experience and crisis intervention knowledge Knowledge of the Mental Health Act Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification Bring mental health expertise, crisis intervention, and patient-centred nursing practice to William Osler Health System in Brampton.
