Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Chef to lead kitchen operations and prepare high-quality meals in a welcoming hospitality environment. The ideal candidate combines strong cooking and food preparation skills with sound judgment, attention to food safety, and the ability to guide a team. Experience in restaurants, food service, or the broader food industry is valued.

Responsibilities

- Plan and prepare menu items according to recipes, quality standards, and service needs.
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, plating, and timely service.
- Maintain safe food-handling practices and ensure the kitchen meets food safety and sanitation standards.
- Organize ingredients, monitor inventory, and help manage ordering and storage.
- Train, supervise, and support kitchen staff; coordinate tasks to keep service running smoothly.
- Collaborate with restaurant management and front-of-house staff to address guest needs and resolve service issues.




- Help maintain a clean, orderly, and well-equipped kitchen.
- When needed, support hospitality operations such as serving or bartending.

Requirements

- Demonstrated cooking and food preparation skills; restaurant, kitchen, or food service experience preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and food safety practices.
- Supervising experience, leadership ability, and strong team management skills.
- Restaurant management experience is an asset.
- Clear communication, organization, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A professional, guest-focused approach and interest in hospitality.
- Serving or bartending experience is helpful but not required.

Pay: $17.03-$20.00 per hour
