MSSSecurity is urgently seeking reliable, experienced, and highly motivated Mobile Patrol Security Guards to join our growing security team in Edmonton.

The successful candidates will be responsible for conducting mobile patrols across multiple assigned properties, identifying potential security threats, responding to alarms, and ensuring the safety of clients, buildings, and assets.

We are looking for individuals who can work independently, manage their patrol schedules efficiently, and demonstrate excellent judgment in challenging situations.

Immediate availability and previous mobile patrol experience will be considered strong assets.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct scheduled mobile patrols and security inspections at multiple assigned locations.
- Perform regular interior and exterior property checks, including parking lots, parkades, entrances, and restricted areas.
- Complete scheduled patrol visits (mobile hits) within designated time frames.
- Identify and report suspicious activities, trespassing, vandalism, property damage, and safety hazards.
- Respond promptly to security alarms, emergency calls, and incidents.
- Verify that doors, windows, gates, and other access points are properly secured.
- Conduct lock-up and unlock services according to client requirements.
- Monitor properties for unauthorized individuals and address security concerns professionally.
- Maintain accurate Daily Activity Reports (DARs), patrol logs, and detailed incident reports.
- Capture and upload photographs as proof of patrol completion when required.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, property management, and emergency responders.
- Follow assigned patrol routes, site-specific post orders, and company security procedures.




- Maintain assigned patrol vehicles in a clean and professional condition.
- Immediately report vehicle issues, security breaches, and unusual incidents to management.

Requirements and Qualifications
- Valid Alberta Security Services Worker Licence – Mandatory.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence – Mandatory.
- Clean driving record – Required.
- Previous mobile patrol or security experience is strongly preferred.
- Ability to drive safely and confidently during Edmonton winter conditions.
- Strong knowledge of Edmonton roads and surrounding areas is an asset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to use smartphones, GPS navigation, and electronic security reporting applications.
- Strong time-management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Physically capable of performing walking patrols, climbing stairs, and conducting property inspections.
- Ability to remain calm and respond professionally during emergencies.
- Must be punctual, dependable, and available for night shifts, weekends, and statutory holidays.

Preferred Skills
- Mobile patrol and alarm response experience.
- Knowledge of residential, commercial, and construction site security.
- Experience using digital patrol reporting systems.
- Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills.
- Familiarity with access control, CCTV, and alarm systems.

Pay: $16.50-$17.00 per hour
