Job Overview

We are seeking a dependable, customer-focused Mover to help transport household or commercial belongings safely and efficiently. You’ll work as part of a team to prepare, load, move, and unload items while providing courteous service throughout each job. This is a physically active role that may involve local travel, warehouse tasks, and handling items of varying sizes and weights.

Duties

- Pack, wrap, carry, load, transport, and unload furniture, boxes, and other belongings.

- Use protected lifting and carrying techniques and moving equipment, such as dollies and straps.

- Protect items and property during loading, transport, and delivery.

- Communicate clearly and courteously with customers and team members about moving needs and handling instructions.

- Assist with inventory checks and keep items organized during moves.

- Maintain clean, orderly moving vehicles and work areas.

- Follow workplace safety procedures and report damaged items, hazards, or equipment concerns.

- When qualified and authorized,



operate a forklift or assist with warehouse activities.

- Support driving duties when appropriately licensed and assigned.

Qualifications

- Ability to perform heavy lifting and remain active throughout the workday, with or without reasonable accommodation.

- Strong communication skills, reliability, and a professional approach to customer service.

- Willingness to learn safe moving practices and work collaboratively as part of a team.

- Warehouse experience is helpful but not required.

- Forklift experience or certification is a plus; operation is limited to qualified, authorized employees.

- Commercial driving experience and the appropriate license are preferred for roles that include driving.

- Dependable attendance, attention to detail, and a commitment to handling customers’ belongings with care.

Pay: $16.39-$27.57 per hour
