New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting firm, is recruiting experienced Senior Microsoft Power Platform Developers to support Government of Canada IT consulting engagements focused on enterprise application development, business process automation, Microsoft 365 integration, and digital transformation.

We are seeking accomplished Power Platform Developers with demonstrated experience designing, developing, integrating, and supporting enterprise business solutions using Microsoft Power Platform technologies and related Microsoft cloud services.

Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise business applications using Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
- Develop Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps to support business processes, operational workflows, and enterprise application requirements.
- Design and implement Power Automate cloud flows, automated workflows, approvals, and business process integrations.
- Develop and maintain integrations between Power Platform applications, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365, and external enterprise systems.
- Develop and consume REST APIs, Microsoft Graph APIs, and custom connectors to integrate applications, services, and enterprise data sources.
- Design and implement Dataverse data models, business rules, security roles, and application components.
- Develop custom application components, plugins, scripts, and extensions using technologies such as C#, .NET, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Implement authentication, authorization, and Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions using Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory).
- Collaborate with business analysts, solution architects, technical teams, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Support application lifecycle management (ALM), solution packaging, deployment automation, and DevOps practices across development, testing, and production environments.
- Troubleshoot application issues, optimize performance, resolve defects, and support ongoing application enhancements.
- Prepare technical specifications,



solution designs, development documentation, and implementation procedures.

Requirements:

- Extensive professional experience developing enterprise applications using Microsoft Power Platform technologies.
- Strong hands-on experience with Power Apps, including Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps.
- Demonstrated experience developing Power Automate cloud flows, workflow automation, and enterprise integrations.
- Experience designing and developing solutions using Microsoft Dataverse, including data models, business rules, and security configurations.
- Strong experience integrating Power Platform solutions with SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, and other Microsoft 365 services.
- Experience developing and consuming REST APIs, custom connectors, and web services.
- Proficiency in relevant development technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, C#, or .NET.
- Experience implementing application security, authentication, authorization, and role-based access controls.
- Knowledge of Power Platform application lifecycle management, solution deployment, workplace management, and development best practices.
- Experience working with Agile development methodologies, source control, testing, and release management processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical documentation skills.
- Relevant post-secondary education in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Previous experience providing Power Platform development services to Government of Canada departments or agencies.




- Experience supporting large-scale public sector application modernization, workflow automation, or digital transformation initiatives.
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400), Power Platform Solution Architect Expert (PL-600), or other relevant Microsoft certifications.
- Experience developing integrations using Microsoft Graph APIs, including SharePoint Drive, List, and Site APIs, Microsoft Teams APIs, and Microsoft Planner APIs.
- Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, and development technologies including C#, .NET, JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and Python.
- Experience developing Power Apps Component Framework (PCF) controls, Dataverse plugins, and custom connectors.
- Experience implementing Single Sign-On using Microsoft Entra ID, OAuth 2.0, and related authentication technologies.
- Experience with Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, Azure API Management, or other Azure integration services.
- Experience implementing Power Platform governance, security, Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies, and environment management.
- Experience using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or comparable tools for automated build, testing, and deployment processes.
- Existing Government of Canada Reliability Status or Secret security clearance.
