The City of Waterloo is seeking a Municipal Building Official to lead plan review and permit inspections at Waterloo City Centre. You will determine permit applicability, fees and deadlines, respond to inquiries, and coordinate with other agencies to ensure code compliance.

Required are a post-secondary diploma in Construction Engineering or Architectural Technology and municipal experience, plus a valid G driver’s license and solid communication skills.
