Neurofeedback Clinician (RP, RSW, or Psychologist)

Add neurofeedback to your practice, or lead a program that changes lives.

Experienced in neurofeedback? Lead our program. New to neurofeedback? We’ll train you.

Some children spend their days feeling like their brain is working against them. They can’t settle, can’t focus and can’t sleep. Their parents have tried strategies, schedules and supports, and they’re still searching.

At Guided Spectrum, we believe every child deserves the chance to feel calm, focused and in control of their own mind. Neurofeedback is one of the most meaningful ways we help them get there.

We’re growing our Neurofeedback program and are looking for clinicians who want to be part of that work. Some will be experienced neurofeedback practitioners ready to lead. Others will be regulated clinicians who are curious and ready to learn.

About Guided Spectrum

Guided Spectrum is an OAP-registered neurodevelopmental services clinic in Oakville, Ontario. We support children, youth and families across the GTA. We started with a straightforward belief: families shouldn’t have to piece together care from five different places. When the people supporting a child work together, the child does better.

That’s why we bring several disciplines under one roof:

- Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA): in-centre, in-home and community-based programs
- Speech-Language Pathology (SLP): communication, language and social skills
- Occupational Therapy (OT): sensory processing, motor skills and daily living
- Neurofeedback: brain-based self-regulation training

Our centre was designed for kids. It has a Sensory Integration Gym and a Therapeutic Trampoline, and it’s a warm space where children feel safe and families feel welcome. We’re affiliated with several colleges, we host student placements and we’re expanding across Ontario. We’re a growing team, and we know each other by name. Clinicians here are trusted as professionals and given room to do their best work. Why neurofeedback matters to us

Many of the children we serve are neurodivergent, and many also struggle with attention, anxiety, emotional regulation or sleep. Behavioural, communication and sensory therapies do powerful work. But we kept seeing children whose nervous systems needed support at a deeper level before other progress could take hold.

Neurofeedback gives us a way to meet children at that level. It works by giving the brain real-time feedback about its own activity, which helps it learn more regulated patterns over time. The approach is non-invasive and drug-free, and children often find it engaging.

Neurofeedback matters to us because:

- It complements everything else we do.

A child who is better regulated can often engage more fully in ABA, speech and OT sessions.
- It gives families another option. Many come to us looking for a non-medication approach to support attention, regulation or sleep.
- It’s individualized. Protocols are tailored to each child and adjusted based on how they respond.
- It builds lasting skills. The goal is to strengthen the brain’s own ability to self-regulate, not just to manage symptoms.

We want neurofeedback at Guided Spectrum to be done with clinical rigour, real care and close teamwork with the rest of each child’s care team. Two ways to join us

Track 1: Experienced Neurofeedback Clinician (Clinical Supervisor)

You already practise neurofeedback, and you’re ready to lead, mentor and shape a program.

What you’ll do:

- Lead clinical standards, protocols and quality across the Neurofeedback program
- Conduct assessments, including QEEG-guided assessment where applicable, and design individualized treatment plans
- Carry your own caseload, including complex and high-needs clients
- Train and mentor clinicians who are new to neurofeedback through supervised sessions, regular one-on-one and group supervision, and feedback on their treatment plans, session data and notes
- Sign off on trainees’ readiness for independent practice
- Provide clinical direction to our Neurofeedback Trainer
- Help shape outcome tracking, program policies and expansion across Ontario

What you bring:
- Hands-on clinical neurofeedback experience
- BCIA certification (BCN) is preferred, ideally with eligibility to act as a BCIA mentor
- Experience supervising, training or mentoring clinicians is an asset
- A teaching mindset, with the patience and clarity to help others build skill and confidence

Why it’s a great fit: You’ll be the clinical voice of a growing program. You’ll have the autonomy to shape it, a supportive leadership team behind you and the reward of developing the next generation of neurofeedback clinicians. Track 2: Neurofeedback Clinician – Training Provided

You’re a regulated clinician who is curious about neurofeedback and wants to add it to your practice.

What we offer:

- Structured, hands-on training in neurofeedback assessment, protocols and equipment

- Supervised sessions with our Clinical Lead until you’re confident on your own
- A real caseload to learn on, so you build skill with real clients from day one, with support
- A clear growth path from trainee to independent clinician, and to leadership as you grow

What you’ll do:
- Learn, then deliver, individualized neurofeedback sessions
- Integrate psychotherapeutic support within your scope of practice
- Review session data and client progress with your supervisor
- Collaborate with our ABA, SLP and OT teams
- Share progress with families clearly and compassionately

Why it’s a great fit: Neurofeedback is a growing field and a valuable addition to any mental health practice. You’ll learn it in a supportive clinical setting, with mentorship built in and a client base already in place. You won’t have to figure it out alone. Who can apply (both tracks)

You must hold current registration in good standing in Ontario as one of the following:

- Registered Psychotherapist (CRPO)
- Registered Social Worker (OCSWSSW)
- Psychologist or Psychological Associate (CPBAO)

You’ll also need:
- Experience working with children, youth and/or neurodivergent clients
- Professional liability insurance
- A clear Vulnerable Sector Check
- Strong clinical documentation habits, in line with PHIPA and your college’s standards
- Warmth, curiosity and a collaborative, family-centred approach

Assets: BCN certification, QEEG experience, or experience in a multidisciplinary setting. Why clinicians love working here

- A true multidisciplinary team. ABA, SLP, OT and Neurofeedback work together under one roof.
- Clients are already here. We have an established, growing client base across the GTA, so you can focus on clinical work.

- A centre built for kids. We have a Sensory Integration Gym and a Therapeutic Trampoline.
- Flexibility that fits your life. This is a part-time independent contract that fits well alongside a private practice.
- Admin handled for you. Our team manages scheduling, intake coordination and billing logistics.

- Room to grow. We’re expanding across Ontario, and we grow our people along with the organization.
- A culture of respect. You’ll be trusted as a professional and supported by leadership.
