Job Overview

We are urgently hiring a dependable Warehouse Worker to support daily warehouse distribution operations. This hands-on role involves moving, organizing, and preparing materials and orders while following workplace safety procedures. Candidates with warehouse experience, equipment-operation skills, or construction experience are encouraged to apply. Training may be provided for site-specific processes and equipment, as appropriate.

Duties

- Pick, stage, and organize orders accurately for shipment or internal distribution.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing materials, using safe manual-handling practices and equipment when authorized.
- Assist with shipping and receiving, including checking items against order or delivery documentation.
- Operate equipment such as a forklift, order picker, clamp truck, or crane when trained and authorized.
- Use a warehouse management system to record inventory movements, locate products, and update order status.
- Move materials throughout the facility and help maintain orderly storage areas.
- Perform heavy lifting as required, following secure lifting procedures and any applicable limits.




- Conduct basic equipment checks and report maintenance or safety concerns; mechanical knowledge is helpful.
- Follow instructions for heavy equipment operation and keep work areas clean and free of hazards.

Qualifications

- Previous warehouse experience or experience in warehouse distribution is preferred.
- Familiarity with order picking, shipping and receiving, and warehouse management systems is an asset.
- Experience operating a forklift, order picker, clamp truck, crane, or other heavy equipment is preferred; required certifications or authorization must be current where applicable.
- Mechanical knowledge and construction experience are helpful.
- Ability to safely perform physical tasks, including loading, unloading, and lifting materials, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to follow safety procedures and work instructions.
- Willingness to learn site-specific processes and work cooperatively with the warehouse team.

Pay: From $17.95 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
